Connecting Business Central to ubik
Ubik connects to your Business Central environments through a Microsoft-registered application. Reconnecting (or connecting for the first time) covers every environment configured for your organization in one step — Production, and any sandbox or staging environments alike.Step 1 — Connect
Most users can do this directly.1
Open the Business Central integration
Log in to your ubik dashboard and go to the Business Central integration section.
2
Click "Connect" (or "Reconnect")
Start the connection for Business Central.
3
Sign in with Microsoft
You’ll be redirected to a Microsoft sign-in page — log in with your Business Central account.
4
Approve access
You’ll see a permissions screen asking you to approve access for “ubik d365.” Click Accept.
5
Confirm
You’re redirected back to ubik automatically. This covers all environments configured for your organization in one step.
Step 2 — For your IT administrator
Only needed if Step 1 gets blocked by an admin-approval wall. Have a Global Administrator or Application Administrator at your organization do the following:1
Open the tenant consent link
Replace
{your-tenant-id} with your organization’s Microsoft tenant ID or domain, then sign in with an admin account:2
Consent on behalf of your organization
Check the box for “Consent on behalf of your organization” and click Accept.
3
Confirm
The page may land on a plain confirmation screen afterward — that’s expected, nothing further is needed there.

Why this extra step might be needed
Ubik’s Business Central integration is a newer Microsoft-registered application that hasn’t yet completed Microsoft’s publisher verification — a standard safeguard some organizations enforce for new apps, unrelated to your account or data.
