# D365 Business Central

> Connect Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central so ubik can read your environments.

## Connecting Business Central to ubik

Ubik connects to your Business Central environments through a Microsoft-registered application. Reconnecting (or connecting for the first time) covers every environment configured for your organization in one step — Production, and any sandbox or staging environments alike.

### Step 1 — Connect

Most users can do this directly.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the Business Central integration">Log in to your ubik dashboard and go to the Business Central integration section.</Step>
  <Step title="Click "Connect" (or "Reconnect")">Start the connection for Business Central.</Step>
  <Step title="Sign in with Microsoft">You'll be redirected to a Microsoft sign-in page — log in with your Business Central account.</Step>
  <Step title="Approve access">You'll see a permissions screen asking you to approve access for "ubik d365." Click **Accept**.</Step>
  <Step title="Confirm">You're redirected back to ubik automatically. This covers all environments configured for your organization in one step.</Step>
</Steps>

<Warning>
  If the approval step shows **"Need admin approval"** instead of an Accept button, your organization's security policy requires an administrator to pre-approve new applications. Skip to Step 2 below.
</Warning>

### Step 2 — For your IT administrator

Only needed if Step 1 gets blocked by an admin-approval wall.

Have a **Global Administrator** or **Application Administrator** at your organization do the following:

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the tenant consent link">
    Replace `{your-tenant-id}` with your organization's Microsoft tenant ID or domain, then sign in with an admin account:

    ```
    https://login.microsoftonline.com/{your-tenant-id}/adminconsent?client_id=6782c600-2f55-4352-8581-332b4858b797&redirect_uri=https://ubik-d365-finance-zz6bdx6djq-el.a.run.app/v1/dynamics365bc/oauth/callback
    ```
  </Step>

  <Step title="Consent on behalf of your organization">Check the box for "Consent on behalf of your organization" and click **Accept**.</Step>
  <Step title="Confirm">The page may land on a plain confirmation screen afterward — that's expected, nothing further is needed there.</Step>
</Steps>

Once done, anyone at your organization — including non-admins — can complete Step 1 above without hitting the approval wall.

  Ubik's Business Central integration is a newer Microsoft-registered application that hasn't yet completed Microsoft's publisher verification — a standard safeguard some organizations enforce for new apps, unrelated to your account or data.

### What happens next

Data sync picks back up automatically on the next scheduled run after you reconnect. Contact your ubik representative if you'd like it triggered sooner.
